Mark D. Troyan has represented seriously mistreated people in personal injury and medical malpractice cases in both state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia since 2012. His work has included wrongful death cases, motor vehicle collisions, trip and fall cases, asbestos related mesothelioma and lung cancer cases, surgical errors, and a multitude of other injury related matters.
In 2009, Mark received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Duquesne University. After, he attended Duquesne University Kline School of Law and received his Juris Doctor cum laude. While in law school, Mark began working as a law clerk at Robert Peirce & Associates. He continued his career in law and is now a named partner at the firm. He handles personal injury, medical malpractice, and asbestos related cases.
The nature of Mark’s practice requires him to litigate against large corporations and insurance companies that are headquartered throughout the United States. Mark understands the stress that his clients and their families can experience when choosing to file a lawsuit. He recognizes the anxiety that can come with taking on a large corporation or insurance company. This understanding gives Mark the insight needed to assist clients with their individual legal cases. Mark enjoys carefully working through a case with his clients, taking in their stories so he can thoroughly understand what they and their families are going through to help them determine their best path moving forward. Mark strongly believes the firm’s team-oriented approach and family-centered environment allows for the best representation for all his clients.
Mark has been named to the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers. Mark is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates forum, whose membership is limited to attorneys who have achieved verdicts or settlements on behalf of their clients over one million dollars. He is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (WPTLA) and American Association for Justice (AAJ). He belongs to the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Allegheny County Bar Association.
Mark lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, son, and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
