At Robert Peirce & Associates, P.C., we are always looking for ways to give back to our community. To kick off the new year, our legal team decided to donate yet again to the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of America. Given that we have supported this organization on an ongoing basis since the year 2000, our total contributions to Make-A-Wish® currently amount to more than $85,000.
Every year, our firm’s employees regularly pledge money to Make-A-Wish® through our casual Fridays program, and each donation is matched by the firm. Thus, on behalf of our entire legal team, Attorney Robert N. Peirce, III delivered a check totaling almost $5,000 to the Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia chapter on January 6th.
About Make-A-Wish®
Over 40 years ago, the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of America was founded to help grant the wishes of children diagnosed with critical illnesses. It originally gained inspiration from Christopher James Greicius: As a 7-year-old boy with leukemia, Christopher’s hometown community made his wish of becoming a police officer come true before he passed away.
As of 2021, Make-A-Wish® estimated that its tens of thousands of volunteers and supporters grant a child’s wish every 34 minutes. We are proud to be one of the donors who help make children’s wishes possible.
Our Firm’s Commitment to Giving Back
Robert Peirce & Associates, P.C. engages in many charitable efforts throughout the year, such as via The Alliance for Infants and Toddlers, a federal grant that provides assistance to infants born at a low birthweight and their families. Our firm is also a supporter of Presents for Patients®, which is a community outreach project aimed at helping individuals in long-term care facilities have a joyous holiday season.
As attorneys, we have a deep-seated passion for helping others. In fact, giving back is an integral part of our firm’s mission — and we are committed to taking every opportunity that we can to do so.
